Arsenal vs Man City Tickets: Prices, Availability and How to Buy Latest Update Before the Community Shield

Arsenal vs Man City Tickets Are in Demand Ahead of Sunday’s Community Shield

Arsenal vs Man City tickets are naturally becoming one of the biggest searches ahead of Sunday’s Community Shield, with Arsenal and Manchester City preparing to meet at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

The fixture is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026, with a 3pm BST kick-off.

For supporters hoping to be inside the stadium, however, there is an important point to understand: this is not a normal Arsenal home fixture.

The Community Shield is being played at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, meaning ticket allocations have been divided between the two clubs and other official groups. Arsenal have also published dedicated ticket information for the fixture.

So, if you are still looking for Arsenal vs Man City tickets, here is what you need to know.

🔴 Arsenal vs Man City tickets: Match details

The 2026 Community Shield is being staged in Cardiff rather than Wembley.

That makes this year’s match slightly different from the usual Community Shield experience, but the demand for tickets remains high.

🎟️ How much are Arsenal vs Man City tickets?

Manchester City’s official ticket information lists the following prices for their allocation:

These are the official listed Manchester City ticket prices, not third-party resale prices.

That distinction is important.

If you see a ticket being advertised online for considerably more than these figures, it does not mean the official ticket price has increased.

It may simply be a resale listing.

🔵 How many tickets did Manchester City receive?

Manchester City confirmed that the club received an allocation of 26,703 tickets for the Community Shield.

The allocation is in the North Stand and includes wheelchair bays and easy-access seating.

The club’s ticketing process was structured around different groups of Season Ticket Members and existing supporters, with later sales windows subject to availability.

That means supporters should not assume that every ticket category remains available simply because it appears on an older ticket information page.

🔴 What about Arsenal’s ticket allocation?

Arsenal have also issued official ticket information for the Community Shield against Manchester City.

Because this is a neutral-venue fixture, Arsenal supporters should use the club’s official ticket channels rather than treating the match like a normal Emirates Stadium home fixture.

The safest option is always to check Arsenal’s official ticket information before making any payment.

⚠️ Be careful with unofficial Arsenal vs Man City tickets

This is probably the most important section for supporters still searching.

When a major match gets close to kick-off, social media and unofficial resale platforms can become filled with ticket offers.

Some may be genuine.

Others may not be.

Manchester City’s official ticket terms specifically warn that entry can be refused when tickets have been purchased through unauthorised sellers. The club also states that tickets are issued to the named ticket holder and are non-transferable.

So if somebody contacts you claiming to have a guaranteed ticket and asks for a bank transfer, cryptocurrency payment or unusual payment method, stop and verify the seller first.

A cheap-looking ticket can become a very expensive mistake.

📱 Are the Arsenal vs Man City tickets digital?

Yes.

Manchester City confirmed that tickets for its allocation would be issued as mobile tickets, with distribution scheduled no later than three days before the match.

The club also states that tickets are personal to the ticket holder and non-transferable.

Supporters should therefore make sure the ticket is correctly assigned before travelling to Cardiff.

It is also sensible to have your phone fully charged before heading to the stadium.

🏟️ Where is the match being played?

The Arsenal vs Man City tickets are for the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

The stadium is right in the centre of Cardiff, making it particularly convenient for supporters travelling by train.

The venue is also familiar with hosting major football occasions and large sporting events.

For fans travelling from England, Cardiff’s central location makes public transport an attractive option.

🚆 Travelling to Cardiff for the Community Shield

If you already have a ticket, the next thing to think about is the journey.

Manchester City has published travel information for its supporters, including coach and train options from Manchester.

The club says National Express coach travel was available, while matchday train services from Manchester were also being offered.

For Arsenal supporters travelling from London, Cardiff is also accessible by rail.

The important thing is not to leave the journey until the last minute.

A sold-out stadium and a major football match can make Cardiff extremely busy around kick-off.

🔥 Can you still buy Arsenal vs Man City tickets?

This is where supporters need to be careful with wording.

Availability can change quickly.

The official sales windows for Manchester City’s allocation have already been running through July, with later stages opened to wider supporter groups subject to availability.

Therefore, an old announcement saying tickets went on sale does not automatically mean tickets are still available today.

If you are looking for a ticket on August 14, check the relevant club’s official ticketing channel first.

Do not rely solely on social media posts saying “last few tickets available”.

💷 What if someone is selling Arsenal vs Man City tickets for £200 or £300?

That is not the same thing as the official ticket price.

For example, Manchester City’s published adult prices range from £30 to £75, depending on category.

A third-party seller asking £200 does not mean the club is charging £200.

It is simply a separate resale price.

More importantly, an unofficial seller cannot necessarily guarantee that the ticket will be accepted at the stadium.

That is why official channels should always be your first choice.

🧠 What should you check before buying Arsenal vs Man City Tickets?

Before paying for any Arsenal vs Man City tickets, check these points:

1️⃣ Is the seller officially authorised?

If not, proceed with extreme caution.

2️⃣ Is the ticket issued in your name?

Manchester City’s terms state that tickets are personal and non-transferable.

3️⃣ What is the actual ticket category?

Don’t pay a premium price without knowing where the seat is.

4️⃣ Is the ticket digital?

Make sure you understand how and when the mobile ticket will be delivered.

5️⃣ What happens if you are refused entry?

An unofficial seller may not give you the protection that an official club purchase provides.

⚔️ Why demand for Arsenal vs Man City tickets is so high

This isn’t just another friendly.

Arsenal are entering the season as Premier League champions, while Manchester City are beginning a new era under Enzo Maresca.

Arsenal also have several new faces to watch, including Bruno Guimaraes.

City have their own major storylines, particularly following Guardiola’s departure.

So supporters are not just buying a ticket to the Community Shield.

They are buying the chance to watch the first major competitive game of a new football season.

🔥 Arsenal vs Man City could set the tone for the season

The Community Shield does not decide the Premier League title.

But winning it can provide an early boost.
